Each month we
present a body of work from a premier artist with whom we have collaborated
closely in the creation of fine art prints.
artist for the month is William Dreskin. William’s broad interests in the arts and writing have led him to follow various paths in his work from biomedical illustration to work as a photojournalist, illustrator, and fine art photographer.
William’s articles and photographs have appeared in many books and magazines including American Art Collector, Travel and Leisure, and International Travel News, and his photographs have also appeared in calendars and numerous juried exhibitions. He is a member of the Marin Arts Council, the Marin Society of Artists, and the North American Nature Photography Association.
His main interest in fine art photography is in photographing subjects, especially natural subjects, as a way to express pure abstract form. "I am continually exploring and discovering unexpected beautiful abstract forms and intricate patterns - from serpentine rock to ocean wave forms and graceful waterfalls. I am inspired by the mystery and beauty in nature that is continually appearing and disappearing all around us."
Color Folio has worked closely with William to produce many large format fine art prints. You can see more of William's work on his website http://www.dreskinfineart.com.
